Watercolor Class

This class is designed to help beginner and intermediate painters build a strong foundation in watercolor while enjoying a peaceful and creative social environment. Participants will explore color mixing and theory and learn essential watercolor techniques, and about sketching compositions prior to painting. The class will cover stretching paper, as well as the use of various brushes and supplies to create pieces tailored to each artist’s unique style. The goal of the class is to have each artist feeling comfortable enough with their materials and skills that they can apply what they have learned on their own without fear to create an individualistic composition reflecting their own style.

Amanda has been teaching young artists in Bucks County for eight years and has worked as a freelance mixed-media artist for over 25 years. Her free-spirited nature shines through in her loose, whimsical paintings, which are deeply influenced by her passion for bold, vibrant colors and her connection to the natural world.
