This class is an introduction to painting using oil or acrylics to help the beginning student to understand the materials and techniques of painting, and paint mixing and color theory using specific class projects. This foundational information can also be a helpful refresher for the more experienced painter who would like a better understanding of the techniques of direct and indirect painting.
Wayne is an Artist and Art instructor, showing work in professional exhibitions and instructing students of all skill levels for the past 27 years. He received a BFA from Tyler School of Art followed by additional classes in painting techniques at PAFA.
