Dean F. Thomas is a Buck’s County painter and printmaker specializing in hand-painted drypoint engravings, color woodcut and oil paintings.
“My strong and deeply rooted connection to the natural world is what drives me to paint. It is my sincere desire that my love for the outdoors through my paintings will have a profound effect on others, keeping them connected to the natural world as well.”
Dean will talk about his work and the process of woodcut printmaking. He will show some examples of the materials and methods he uses and the wonderful prints that are the results of this process.
Dean has received a BFA from Glassboro State College.
