We meet at the James Lorah Auditorium on the first Thursday of the month at 7:30pm. The meetings are free and open to all. Our speaker for the month of November is Deb Hoeffner. Deb is a professional artist and illustrator. Her work has been widely published in books, magazines and more, worldwide. Working in oil, pencil, and her own unique combination of watercolor and pastel, she describes her style of “soft realism” as a layering of thought, paint and possibilities. Her portraits, whether of people or animals, capture the spirit that lives behind the eyes of her subjects. Her latest book “Silent Swoop: An Owl, an Egg, and a Warm Pocket” is the true story of a very special great horned owl who lived at the World Bird Sanctuary after being rescued by its founder. Moving to Doylestown from Northern New Jersey, her paintings and drawings have been exhibited in many of the galleries and art exhibitions of this rich artistic area. She currently is exhibiting at The Upstairs Gallery in Peddlers Village. More of her work can be seen on her website at Date/Time: Thursday, November 7, 2019 7:30–9:30 pm Location: James-Lorah Auditorium 100 Broad Street Doylestown, PA 18901 (click for map) Organizer: Doylestown Art League
