Jas will do a critique on framing/presentation of artwork for juried shows. Members are asked to bring a painting or two. Jas is a lifelong resident of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. For over thirty five years, Jas’ work has been exhibited in regional galleries and has participated in countless juried shows and competitions on the regional and national levels. He was a graduate as well as an art instructor at Arcadia University in Glenside and Hussian School of Art, Philadelphia. He is also a Board member and a painting instructor at the Conservatory in Doylestown since 2014. He has won a significant number of awards and prizes for his paintings both in oil and watercolors and has been featured in area newspapers and magazines. His originals in watercolor and oil and limited edition prints are featured throughout Bucks County area galleries. Jas’ talents have been commissioned by private and corporate clients including Abington Memorial Hospital, Port of History Museum and the Franklin Mint. He is proud to be a committee member of Annual Traditional Artists Show, a yearly art show that helps raise funds for not-for-profit organizations.
