Our speaker for the month of January is Alice Lawler.

Alice, a docent at the Michener Art Museum, will share a presentation "Welcome Winter ! -- Through the Eyes and Brushes of Bucks County Impressionists. " This talk "walks" you through winter landscapes painted by acclaimed artists Edward Redfield, George Sotter, Fern Coppedge, and more. Alice presents the snow scenes, stories, and color commentary about the artists and their work, as a way of celebrating the beauty of the winter season.

Alice Lawler has been a volunteer docent at the Michener for 15 years, where she takes great pleasure in sharing art with visitors in meaningful ways. Previously she was a docent at Fonthill Museum and the Wharton Esherick Museum, and she also has volunteered for Art Goes to School and served as treasurer for New Hope Art League.
